Having been on the islands more than 20 times in my lifetime, I can honestly say "They don't call it Paradise for nothing!" A few short weeks after Winter Training we will leave for 2 dream weeks of cycling in Paradise. Come and enjoy a unique opportunity to experience one of the most amazing places on earth while on 2 wheels, and star in our next Global Ride virtual cycling video in the process.

We will spend 2 to 4 days of the trip filming (on the road and on your bike). The remaining days of each week will consist of more riding as well as other activities not to be missed while on each respective island. There will be something planned for 6 days of every week - sometimes full days, other times half days. Outside of the required filming days, you will be able to participate in all of the activities or make your own plans for the day.

There are many "hidden treasures" on each of the islands that we can work into our schedule, and having been there enough times, I know how to find them. So, come and join myself, Gene Nacey and my partner Tom Scotto, along with other "Fusion Fanatics" for the cycling vacation you've always dreamed of. Not only will this be one to remember, but you'll have professional video and stills of the trip (last year we took over 3,600 pictures in Spain) to help you relive it for years to come.

"This will be a tremendous trip in many ways. In addition to the great roads, accommodations and food, I'm looking forward to biking with some of the riders from my indoor cycling classes who have always wanted to hit the open road together. We will take all of our indoor training and virtual rides and make them reality in Hawaii!"

Cycling Fusion Team Kit:
Our brand new 2012 team kits should arrive in time for our trip, and each rider will be given 1 pair of bib shorts, and 1 jersey as part of the tour. Additional items such as jackets can be ordered and paid for separately. Riders will need to wash their kits each night prior to any filming days.

Cost for Cycling / Filming Tour - Includes Airfare!

Fees Includes Airfare, Lodging, Rental Car, Bike Rental and Food:

Luxury Accomodations: We are renting one home with multiple bedrooms. Every bedroom must accomodate 2 guests. It is low season there now, and with the economy we are able to rent something that would normally costs 3 times what we are paying. Check out the details here.

Aifare allowance of $850: If Airfare increases at the time of booking, you will be asked to authorize the difference in fees, which would be added to the Cost of the Tour above.

Car Rental: Two cars will be rented for the group. If you wish to have your own car you can rent it on your own. If you wish to be an additional driver on one of the cars we rent, you will be responsible for the additional renter's fees.

Bike Rental: Bringing your own bike would cost $400 or more, thus we will be renting bikes (unless you have a bike that fits into a 26" case). Five (5) days of bike rental is included for each week - any days beyond that would be added to your fees.

Food: Since we will have a house with a full kitchen, we will go shopping at the local grocery stores for all of our meals. All dining out will be at each individual's own expense. We will purchase whatever food items you would like, and you will be able to cook your own food, or as a group we can agree together on who will cook for which meals once we are on the island.

* We are doing this trip at COST, but if we get hit with taxes and fees that drive these initial estimates up, we will divide those unexpected expenses up between the guests - with a not to exceed cap of $250 per person.
