Questions are Good!
Since Cycling Fusion is offering such a comprehensive indoor cycling program, we understand that there will be questions. We provide the most options, certifications, workshops and are holding to the highest standard in the industry. However, in order to accomplish this, we needed to do things a bit different so as to not be hindered by the status quo. So we find it quite exciting that there are questions.
Individuals
Can I just take a full-day workshop without being certified?
YES. Many people love our workshops eventhough they are certified by other organizations. They attend simply for the knowledge and continuing education credits.
Can I just take the exam without the attending the workshop?
YES. Cycling Fusion is aligned with national accreditation standards which doesn't allow a organization to require a workshop for certification. You can purchase the exam-only option ($75) which includes the manual and study resources.
What does the Cycling Fusion Indoor Cycling Instructor Certification allow me to do?
Our certification provides you with the necessary knowledge and qualifications to teach at any indoor cycling studio. However, some clubs have license agreements and contracts with specific indoor cycling programs and may only accept certain certifications. Check your club's certification and continuing education policies and contact us if you have any questions.
What do I receive if I only attend the workshop and do not take the test?
You will receive a certificate of completion (not certification) and continuing education credits.
If I pass the Heart Zones® Training or Power Training exam, am I considered an indoor cycling instructor?
No. You must first pass the Indoor Cycling Instructor Exam. Heart Zones® Training and Power Training are specialty certifications which are added to a persons existing indoor cycling instructor certification.
Health Clubs
Our club wants to host a workshop. How many participants do we need?
We require a minimum of 10 paid participants for onsite workshops.
If our club hosts a full-day workshop, do we get a certain number of free registrations for our staff?
Yes. We provide 2 free workshop registrations for every 10 paid participants.
Can our club choose to host a number of smaller workshops instead of 1 full-day workshop?
Yes. We can setup a single day or weekend of 2 to 4 hour workshops for your staff to choose from.
What are the requirements to host a workshop at my club?
Basically, the club is required to provide the cycling room, bikes and sound system. Click Here for hosting information and a detailed list of what is required of the club and provided by Cycling Fusion.
